How fast can you get a dumpster to my house?

Winter storms and snow-emergency routes can shift a delivery window, and a street placement waiting on a permit adds a little lead time. Can I keep the dumpster for a week?
Yes. Standard rental periods cover a normal weekend or week-long cleanout, and if a job runs long we work it out rather than surprising you. If you fill the can early, a next-day swap-out puts an empty one back in the same spot so you never lose your rhythm on a basement that is half emptied.
What can't go in the container?
Televisions, computer monitors, laptops and computer peripherals are banned from landfill disposal statewide under Pennsylvania's Covered Device Recycling Act. Whole tires, lead-acid batteries, used oil, paint that is still liquid, propane tanks and anything hazardous also stay out. Everything else in a normal house cleanout is fine. See the full list.
Should I scrap the metal first?
If you have time, yes. Cast-iron radiators, old boilers, steel storm windows, black pipe and copper are worth real money at a scrap yard around here, and they are worth nothing but weight in a container. Pull them out, sell them, and the rest of the job gets smaller. We are happy to tell you what is worth separating.
Will the truck fit down my street?
Usually. We run these narrow one-ways, back alleys and shared double-block driveways every week and know most of them by name. What we need to know up front is overhead wires, low branches, tight corners and whether the neighbors park tight. Tell us the cross streets when you book and we will plan the drop.
